I think it’s in the airline’s best interest to keep families together :) 👉🏼 Pack LIGHT! Allegiant charges you for checked bags AND carryons so we try to ONLY fly with our backpacks! (We usually fly Allegiant when we visit family so we always have a washer and dryer available to us) H/T for sharing about this Allegiant travel hack! (I thought it was only available for Spirit Airlines!). Only one airline is flying from and to Crescent City, which is Contour Aviation. And if you’re in the mood for adventure you can search on Skyscanner from your chosen departure airport to everywhere. This hack saved my family of five $180 dollars for our roundtrip flights making the grand total of our spring break trip to Utah from Phoenix only $287 🤯🤯🤯 I know low cost carriers are not everyone’s thing, but I have flown Allegiant more than any other airline (pretty much the only airline we used before we started travel hacking!) and have only had one bad experience! Some other tips for flying with Allegiant: 👉🏼 don’t pay to choose your seat (while it’s not a guarantee, I have ALWAYS been assigned seats by my kids even though I didn’t choose my seat.
